My name is Erin and I’m a single Seattle dyke who’s trying to have a kid. In searching the internet, I didn’t find much on single queer women who are parents, so I decided to start this blog. I also include my thoughts on my life in general, including teaching, dog training, living gluten free, and enjoying all Seattle has to offer. I hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much for starting your blog. I am a single lesbian TTC and like you haven’t found many other single lesbian moms by choice. Thanks so much for generating some online community!

I searched “lesbian single mom blog” and you were the first link! I am also having a hard time finding other single lesbian moms but the queer parenting groups are pretty accepting. I live in Chicago and am about to move to Denver. I’m doing my first round of at home insems with a known donor. I decided to start a blog in order to try to find more of us and to share my experiences with others. I’ve loved reading lesbian parenting blogs over the last few years, but I want more single parent ones! It looks like you haven’t posted in a year. I hope all is well.
